Court of first instance finds against Spanish anti-EDF law

Brussels, 18/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - In a ruling made on 14 February, the European Court of First Instance found against Spanish legislation for having created restrictions to protect its “sensitive” industries against indirect control from foreign countries. Spain is now compelled to amend the laws which the Court of First Instance believe hinder the free movement of capital (C-274/06).
