Brussels, 05/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - By 387 votes to one, the Romanian parliament ratified the Lisbon Treaty on Monday 4 February. Romanian prime minister Calin Tariceanu told the parliament that Romania wanted to send a clear signal that the country genuinely backed development of the European project, wanting a strong and dynamic European Union oriented on its citizens.
