Brussels, 29/01/2008 (Agence Europe) - At a conference in Brussels organised by The Economist on Tuesday 29 January, the President of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, and EU Internal Market and Services Commissioner Charlie McCreevy defended the EU's energy and climate package and spoke about the current turbulence on the world markets.
