17/01/2008 (Agence Europe) - On 15 January, European Consumer Protection Commissioner Meglena Kuneva presented the Europa School Diary 2008 to the European Parliament. “The new generation is crucial for the future of Europe,” she said. The diary is divided into two parts. There are 96 pages which address such issues as debt, food, fraud and climate change. The rest includes normal diary pages. More than 2.7 million copies of the Diary 2008 will be printed in 22 languages. It will be distributed to schools which order it in the 27 member states. Schools have until 15 February to place their orders from the website of the Generation Europe Foundation which publishes and distributes the diary on behalf of the European Commission (http://www.generation-europe.org ).
