15/01/2008 (Agence Europe) - On 14 January, the European Commission approved the acquisition of sole control of the Petit Couronne and Reichstett Refineries, currently owned by Shell Société des Pétroles Shell SAS of France, by Petroplus Marketing AG, controlled by Petroplus Holdings (a Swiss company active in refining, storing and international trading of crude oil). The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure. (C.D.)
