15/01/2008 (Agence Europe) - Margie Sudré, who heads the French delegation at the EPP/ED group at the European Parliament, has welcomed Brigitte Fouré, elected by the Nouveau Centre, to replace Jean-Louis Bourlanges. Ms Fouré has chosen to join UMP members within the EPP/ED rather than the ALDE group, like Mr Bourlanges, who has left the European Parliament. (L.G.)
