Brussels, 19/12/2007 (Agence Europe) - According to the Court of Auditors, the €4bn in structural funds that were subject to errors in 2006, gave rise to a lively debate when members of the budgetary control committee met their counterparts from the national parliaments. A new hearing at the European Commission on managing structural funds could therefore take place at the beginning of 2008. This audition will certainly be decisive in the choice MEPs will make on the 2006 discharge.
