Parliament requests withdrawal of public funds granted to extremist political groups

Strasbourg, 13/12/2007 (Agence Europe) - As part of the proclamation of the Charter of Fundamental Rights, the European Parliament stated on Thursday 13 December that it would be necessary to recover financial aid received by political parties or media companies that incite hatred against a group of people based on race, religion, disability, sexual orientation or nationality.
