Commission clears three proposed acquisitions

Brussels, 13/12/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 12 December, the Commission authorised three proposals of acquisition. Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB (Sweden) and Motorola Inc. (United States) are to acquire joint control of UI Holdings B.V. (UI Holdings) of the Netherlands, which develops mobile phone user interfaces and application frameworks through its subsidiary, UIQ Technology.
