'Small steps forward' on working time and temporary work but no actual agreement - Vladimir Spidla threatens to withdraw legislation

Brussels, 06/12/2007 (Agence Europe) - No political agreement was reached on Wednesday on changes to working time and temporary work, two packages put forward by the Portuguese presidency of the EU, despite the fact that the vast majority of member states backed the 'tactical' proposed deal.
