€5 million to finance environmental projects in New Caledonia

Luxemburg, 06/12/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 29 November, the European Investment Bank (EIB signed a low-interest credit line with the Banque calédonienne d'investissement (BCI), providing €5 million to be onlent for projects in the environmental and renewable energy sectors.

The BCI will submit requests for the allocation of part funding of the investment loans granted for environmental and renewable energy sector projects. To qualify for EIB funding, potential projects will have to meet...
