Final adoption of programme Fiscalis 2013

Brussels, 23/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - The Council of Ministers of the EU has adopted the Community programme “Fiscalis 2013” (see EUROPE 9450). With a budget of around €150 million for the period 2008-2013, this programme aims to give Member States the means to combat tax fraud more effectively and reduce the costs borne by economic operators in order to comply with the legislation on value added tax (VAT) and excise duties. “The Fiscalis 2013 programme will actively contribute to...
