22/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - The 8th Conference of European Health Ministers started in Bratislava on Thursday 22 November. For the duration of this conference, which will take place over two days, the representatives of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe will discuss solutions to the challenges represented by migration and other forms of mobility for the health-care systems. The programme of the conference includes four working sessions devoted to the following subjects: - migration and mobility: regional and global aspects; - human rights on the move; - the mobility of problems, the mobility of solutions: migration and health system; - the future state for the healthcare systems. The conference will conclude this Friday 23 November with the adoption of the Declaration of Bratislava on migration, health and human rights. (O.J.)
