European Commission hails launch of ICAP International Carbon Action Partnership as historic step towards global carbon market

Brussels, 29/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - News prospects were opened on Monday 29 October for the creation of a global carbon market when the International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP) was launched in Lisbon to coordinate action in the global fights against climate change. ICAP was launched by a coalition of EU member states, US states (led by California), New Zealand, Norway and provinces of Canada.
