Olli Rehn 'understands' Turkey's anti-PKK action but says it must respect international law

Brussels, 22/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - European Commissioner Olli Rehn (Enlargement), speaking through his spokesperson on Monday 22 October, slammed the recent PKK killings of Turkish soldiers and expressed 'solidarity' with Ankara in its fight against terrorism 'which is a common challenge for Turkey and the EU'.
