Commission approves Avnet's plan to buy up Magirus EID

Brussels, 08/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 5 October 2007, the European Commission cleared the planned acquisition of Magirus EID, the infrastructure arm of the German Magirus Group, by Avnet Inc of the US. Magirus EID distributes technology infrastructure products of the Magirus Group, such as servers, storage systems and middleware products.
