18/09/2007 (Agence Europe) - In a press release published on 17 September, EU High Representative for the CFSP Javier Solana welcomed the agreement on Somalia, signed by several Somali leaders in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday 16 September. This agreement will mean that “a new phase in the endeavours to achieve reconciliation amongst all the Somali people” will be launched as quickly as possible, said a press release.
