Brussels, 18/09/2007 (Agence Europe) - The second China-Europa Forum, organised by the Fondation Charles Léopold Mayer, the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, the People's University of China and the Sun Yat-Sen University, and with financial support from the European institutions, among others, will be held in Europe from 4-7 October. The forum will be in two stages: - on 4-5 October, 45 socio-professional and theme-based workshops (politics, economic and social issues, culture and environment, etc) will bring together almost one thousand people in 22 European cities; - on 6-7 October, two plenary sessions will bring together those taking part in the workshops and Chinese and European leaders, including former European Commission President Jacques Delors and former French Prime Minister and current MEP Michel Rocard (PES, France). The China-Europa Forum is a biennial dialogue between Chinese and European societies to meet new challenges related to globalisation and China's increasing power, and also to propose new areas for cooperation.
