03/09/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 3 September, the European Commission adopted technical proposals (legal instruments) allowing the EU-Moldova agreement on the delivery of short-stay visas to come into effect. These proposals still have to be adopted by the Council. The Commission has already negotiated similar agreements with seven third countries (Russia, Ukraine, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia).
