03/09/2007 (Agence Europe) - Since 16 August, Ms Marta Gajecka has occupied the post of Vice-President of the European Investment bank (EIB). Appointed at the start of August, Ms Gajecka succeeds Mr Ivan Pilip, who was the first EIB Vice-President to come from an EU member state that joined the Union on 1 May 2004.
