Carla del Ponte testifies to “good will” from Belgrade

Brussels, 06/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - The final obstacle on the way to a resumption of negotiations, currently suspended, between the EU and Serbia, in view of the conclusion of a Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) was lifted on Wednesday when the prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, Carla Del Ponte, said that the Serbian government had proved its genuine political good will in arresting fugitives being tracked down by the ICTY.
