BNP Paribas has announced that it will be acquiring RBS International Securities Services Limited, a joint venture 70% controlled by the Royal Bank of Scotland International and 30% by the Bank of New York. The amount paid for the deal has not been disclosed. RBSI Securities Services is specialised in securities related services on the UK offshore markets. It provides global custody services, fund administration and corporate trustee services to fund managers and to managers of private wealth clients. It holds in excess of €44bn of assets under custody and €9bn of assets under administration.
