Rolls-Royce, the subsidiary of the German BMW group, has signed an agreement for two versions of the Trent engine series with CIT Aerospace, which is planning on equipping 11 Airbus A330s (four definite orders and seven options) with the Trent 700, as well as a series of three Boeing B787s (two orders and one option) with the Trent 1000. These contracts represent up to €560 million at catalogue price.
