Brussels, 04/04/2007 (Agence Europe) - An agreement setting up a European Works Council (EWC) was signed on Tuesday 3 April in Prague at the Czech electricity company CEZ-CESKE ENERGETICKE ZAVODY by the CEZ management and the Special Negotiating Body (SNB). The latter was chaired by Lubomir Klosik of the Czech energy union and by ECHO, an affiliate of the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU).
