02/04/2007 (Agence Europe) - French Transport Minister Dominique Perben and his Luxembourg counterpart Lucien Lux opened the longest rail 'highway' in Europe on Thursday 29 March, which will link Luxembourg up with Perpignan in June 2007. The new rail link is more than 1000 km long and will be used by lorry drivers who will be able to drive their trucks onto revolving low-level train carriages.
