Brussels, 02/04/2007 (Agence Europe) - In mid-April (12-13), the Indian capital is to play host to the negotiators-in-chief of the main commercial powers of the G4 (European Union, United States, Brazil and India) and of the G6 (G4 plus Australia and Japan), in order to try to relaunch negotiations on the liberalisation of world trade, the Indian trade minister and leader for the emerging countries, Kamal Nath, announced on Friday. It is worth noting that a compromise between the G4 and G6 powers on the details (figures and other provisions) for liberalisation on agriculture and manufactured products (NAMA) will be a preliminary to a multilateral agreement between the 150 members of the WTO.
