GENERAL NEWS / (eu) ep/appointments

29/03/2007 (Agence Europe) - Gerardo Galeote Quecedo (EPP-ED, Spain) has just been elected president of the conference of presidents of the parliamentary committees (not to be confused with the conference of presidents of the political groups). This body will help solve conflicts over competency between the parliamentary committees during allocation of dossiers and help establish contact between MEPs and officials from the Council and Commission for all programming aspects.
