Brussels, 21/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 21 February, the European Commission approved a €17.5 million humanitarian aid package to support victims of the conflict in Chechnya. The recipients will include internally displaced persons (IDPs) and vulnerable groups in Chechnya, as well as IDPs in Ingushetia and Dagestan, and Chechen refugees in Azerbaijan and Georgia.
