116000 single emergency number for children who have disappeared

Brussels, 15/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the Commission adopted a decision to provide all member states with the emergency number 116000 in order to help find children who have disappeared. The decision also provides other European numbers beginning with 116 for other social services.
