Andris Piebalgs tries to sooth Bulgaria's fears about security of electricity supplies in the Balkans

Brussels, 10/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - In a letter to EU Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs this week, Bulgaria's economics minister, Roumen Ovcharov, warned that the closing down of two 440 megawatt nuclear power stations at Kozlodui could lead to disturbances in electricity supply in the Balkans region.
