Loan to Iberdrola for financing renewable energies in Spain

Brussels, 31/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - Last Friday the European Investment Bank (EIB) concluded an agreement for a loan of €450 million to fund renewable energy. It will be divided into two tranches it is financing the construction of IBERDROLA's wind farms in EU Objective 1 regions such as Galicia, Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha and Cantabria, scheduled for entry into service in 2006 and 2007.
