CDC CAPITAL INVESTISSEMENT, subsidiary of CAISSE DES DEPOTS, has issued a friendly takeover bid for QUICK, the Belgian fast food chain (EUR 760 mil turnover in 2005, workforce of 15,000, 406 branches (320 in France and 72 in Belgium and Luxembourg)). It is offering EUR 37.8 a share, valuing QUICK at EUR 800 million.
