Infringement proceedings against Spain, which has yet to repeal illegal conditions imposed on E.ON by CNE

Brussels, 18/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the Commission sent a letter of formal notice to Spain, which has failed to take measures to repeal the conditions imposed by the national energy regulator (CNE) on the merger between the German company E.ON and Spain's Endesa.
