Commission takes action against France and Luxemburg

Brussels, 16/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission, having still to receive a response to its reasoned opinion of July 2005, has referred France to the Court of Justice over its legislation relating to the use of the professional title of dentist. It has also sent a reasoned opinion (final warning) to Luxemburg which restricts the activities that midwives are allowed to perform.
