16/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Forum on Nanosciences, organised by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) with the support of the European Commission, the European Parliament and the European Science Foundation (ESF) will take place on 19-20 October in the Charlemagne Building of the European Commission. Some 400 experts will take part in the conference, the aim of which is to explore the wide range of new possibilities that nanosciences offer and the research structures to be put in place to promote their development. Among the speakers will be many leading scientists, and also Commissioner Janez Potocnik, the President of COST Francesco Fedi, Belgian Socialist MEP Philippe Busquin and the President of ESF Ian Halliday.
