Commission to present code of conduct in clearing and settlement industry to ministers in November

Luxemburg, 10/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 10 October, the Ecofin Council held a quick exchange of views on the Commission's political options on the development of the future clearing and settlement sector. Eero Heinäluoma, President of the Ecofin Council, said that the Council strongly supported the approach taken by the Commission in this area.
