09/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has authorised plans by Texas Pacific Group Advisors IV and Texas Pacific Group Advisors V, two American equity funds, to take joint control of Aleris International, which is also an American company. Aleris International is active in the purchase of aluminium chutes in Europe. The operation was examined under the simplified procedure. (ab)
