02/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - The French Senate is organising a colloquy in Paris on 20 and 21 October on the archives of contemporary political figures, during which the career of the former Senate President, Alain Poher, will be covered. Mr Poher was president of the European Parliament from 1966 to 1969. A stamp in Alain Poher's honour will be brought out on 2 December.
