27/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - Hartmut Nassauer (CDU) and Markus Ferber (CSU) announced in a press release that CDU-CSU MEPs voted unanimously on Tuesday in Strasbourg, for the president of the EPP-ED, Hans-Gert Pöttering (CDU) to be their candidate to succeed Josep Borrell as the new president of the European Parliament.
