27/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 27 September the European Parliament interrupted its plenary at 17H30 to enable all its members to attend the extraordinary conference of the presidents of the political groups, open to all MEPs. This conference was organised in view of attending a speech by the Lebanese prime minister Fouad Siniora (Parliament rules stipulate that speeches to plenaries are only made by Heads of State). EUROPE will be returning to Mr Siniora's speech to MEPs later.
