Budgetary Control Committee recommends budget discharge, but criticises handling of Strasbourg buildings affair

Brussels, 15/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Budgetary Control Committee has recommended that the President of the EP be granted discharge for the 2004 budget, despite its criticism of the affair concerning the purchase of the Winston Churchill (WIC) and Salvador de Madariaga (SDM) Buildings in Strasbourg.
