15/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has given the go-ahead to the proposed joint acquisition by Shell Erneuerbare Energien GmbH, which belongs to the Shell Group, and Saint-Gobain Glass Deutschland GmbH of the German company Avancis GmbH, which manufactures and sells photovoltaic solar modules. The transaction was examined under the simplified procedure.
