After American cargo of transgeci rice banned in EU is intercepted in Rotterdam, Commission does not rule out presence of contaminated products in Union

Brussels, 31/08/2006 (Agence Europe) - The interception in Rotterdam on 26 August of a ship suspected of containing a cargo of American genetically engineered LL Rice 601 banned in the EU has rekindled the polemic over the risk of contamination of many products on the European Union market.
