Publicly owned Russian bank VTB-VNECHTORGBANK has acquired almost 5% of the shares of EADS , the European aerospace and defence group for close to one billion dollars. Elsewhere, EADS intends to invest up to €2 billion in India over the next fifteen years, in research and production centres, creating up to 2000 jobs.
