Commission pursues several infringement procedures in taxation field against five Member States

Brussels, 13/07/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to take action at the Court of Justice of the European Communities (CJEC) against four Member States (Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal) and to send reasoned opinions to Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom for failure to correctly apply European law in the taxation field.
