Visiting President Barroso, Kurt Beck anticipates great efforts from German Presidency

Brussels, 15/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - Following a visit from Kurt Beck, the Rhineland-Palatinate Minister President and new leader of the German Social Democratic Party (SPD) in Brussels on Thursday, Commission President José-Manuel Barroso stressed to reporters the need for all European political forces to “work together” to defeat Euro-pessimism and restore the confidence of citizens.
