15/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday the European Parliament formally approved the Commission's proposal to invite Slovenia to join the Euro from 1 January 2007. Werner Langen's short report (EPP-ED, Germany) was easily adopted by 490 votes for, 13 against, with 63 abstentions.
