Beijing's decision to reduce customs duties on car spares by 10% does not satisfy EU demands

Brussels, 15/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, China announced that it would agree to reduce its Customs duties on imported spare parts for motor cars by10% - currently they stand at between 13.8% and 16.4% - from 1st July. In a press release, the Finance Ministry says that the tax on imported vehicles will also fall, from 28% to 25%.
