24/05/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of Novogate GmbH of Germany by Bayerngas GmbH and Deutsche Essent GmbH, both of Germany. Bayerngas is active in the regional procurement, transportation and sale of natural gas. The deal was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
