12/05/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission wants to take action over illegal awarding of public procurement contracts by mutual consent, namely contracts awarded to a single bidder, rather than all of this type of contracts as indicated in Europe 9190. It is suggesting introducing a minimum ten-day standstill period before concluding a public contract following announcement of the award.
